1 Lb butter (salted)
5 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1.5 Tsp vanilla
Whip butter when it gets to room temperature. Gradually add the cup of sugar.
Add eggs one by one, beating each time. Add vanilla.
Gradually add flour mix. Work it with hands when it gets too thick.
Bake at 340 degrees (yes, 340) for 10-15 minutes on the middle rack.
